Course Description
Stress has been considered by popular media as a major contributor to employee turn-over, absenteeism, decreases in performance and general health.While there is much evidence this may be true, this workshop goes beyond colloquial solutions for managing stress.General assumptions of the stress concept and its consequential impacts will be considered. Participants will examine different types of stress, learning customized stress strategies based on various types of unique contextual pressures.Through learning group discussion and exploring the 360 Perceptual Environmental Inventory, individuals will be better equipped to manage stress in the workplace.
