Course Description

In work environments where violence is a potential outcome, critical skills for de-escalating risks is vital.In this workshop you will learn how to assess potential danger, manage yourself and respond appropriately.Strategies will help learners tackle various sensitive situations and scenarios while highlighting issues of anger, communication style and personal safety.Finally, assessments, case studies and engaging on the job work assignments will help participants develop a confidence for maximizing the power of various approaches in a variety of potentially violent situations.
