Course Description

Feedback matters. The only way for people to continually improve in their work performance is maintaining consistent, candid, timely and constructive feedback. Whether conducting a dreaded performance review, sharing appreciation for excellent performance or dealing with an aspect of a colleague’s work patterns, understanding how and when to provide feedback are vital for successful ongoing work relationships.

In this workshop participants will learn how their feedback delivering skills, logistics and capacity are through the use of the Feedback Self Inventory. Three approaches to giving feedback in specific environments will be covered. Besides exploring barriers to successful feedback, learners will receive a toolbox of strategies for responding appropriately in different situations. Through personal coaching sessions, exploring individual behavior styles and simulation exercises, participants will have a solid grasp of the essentials for giving feedback appropriately and effectively.
